🎁 This Week’s Download – Just for You!

Every fortnight I share a practical resource you can use straight away. This week: a quick scorecard to make sure your SharePoint content is truly Copilot-ready.

📥 Download: Copilot Readiness Checklist

P.S. This checklist is part of the content used in both of these training resources:
Fix the Mess™: Copilot Readiness (60-minute mini-course)
Fix the Mess™: Complete Copilot Readiness System (bundle)

💡 Quick Tip of the Week: “Add to OneDrive” for Shared Libraries

Bring a shared SharePoint/Teams folder into your own OneDrive so it appears in File Explorer/Finder—no hunting through sites every time.

  1. In SharePoint or Teams, open the folder you use often.
  2. Click Add shortcut to OneDrive (sometimes shown as Add shortcut).
  3. Open your computer’s OneDrive folder—your shortcut appears instantly with a small link icon.
  4. (Optional) Right-click → Always keep on this device for offline access.

Why it’s great: Faster access, fewer clicks, and your files still live in the original team library—permissions and single source of truth intact.
Heads-up: It’s a shortcut, not a copy. If the team moves/renames the folder, your shortcut follows.

🎯 Naming Disaster! — Mini Competition

This week it’s a game of skill: send me the worst column name or file name disaster you’ve seen — and tell me what it should have been called. Think “FINAL_v9_NEW_use_this_really_FINAL” or “RefNum2_OLD?”. I’ll pick the smartest/clearest entry and the winner gets free enrolment in my Fix the Mess™: Copilot Readiness mini-course (60 minutes). Entries close 11:59 pm AEDT, 16 October 2025.

Submit Your Entry

One entry per person. Redact sensitive info in screenshots. Read T&Cs.

“If Taylor’s in her full showgirl era, we’re in our full structure era:
build the setlist (libraries), nail the bridge (content types), and give every file its spotlight—
no more final_v9 encores.”

— A sparkly reminder that metadata is the real headliner.
